Oyster Point a planned residential community located five minutes from Isle of Palms Beach and situated overlooking Hamlin Sound and Gray Bay. The state-of-the-art amenity center features a fitness facility, tennis courts, a Junior Olympic zero entry swimming pool with dedicated lap lanes, and more.
Quality Electric of the Coastal Carolinas, Inc. served as the electrical contractor, while its sister company, QEI Security & Technology handled the low-voltage wiring, security and access control system.
Quality Electric crews installed LED can lights in the Sales Center and indirect lighting (pendant-style fixtures) throughout the building, which includes DR Horton’s Charleston office. Indirect lighting systems direct indoor light to ceiling level, where it is reflected back down into the room. This lighting style provides a more even light with less glare and also uses less energy.
Quality Electric also handled all of the pool lighting and wiring and the center’s fire alarm.

Quality Electric has wired dozens of residential builder amenity centers, but this was the biggest to-date.
